Cattle Barn Wedding // Launa and Michael // Cle Elum Washington

When Launa and Michael reached out to me to photograph their engagement photos and wedding I was so excited because they wanted to have their engagement photos taken here on Second Beach in La Push and their wedding on the east side in Cle Elum. Due to Covid-19 the only location that was open on the peninsula at the time that provided a beach backdrop was Salt Creek near Port Angeles. We really lucked out because Salt Creek was absolutely gorgeous at sunset! Their engagement photos were some of my favorites from last summer.

While still being in the mits of Covid-19 Launa and Michael were very fortunate that they did not have to reschedule their wedding in Cle Elum at the Cattle Barn. This was my first time photographing at Cattle Barn. It has definitely become one of my favorite venues! The large grassy field with mountains behind, the pond next to the venue that provided the most gorgeous sunset pictures, and the little white farmhouse that they got ready in was perfect.

Launa and Michael are the sweetest couple and everything about their day was magical. Some of my favorite moments during the day where when Launa and her bridesmaid popped their bridal gifts of individual bottles of champagne, when Launa received the most beautiful Tiffany bracelet from Michael as her wedding gift, which he had their initials engraved on the heart, the first look under the apple trees, the cheesecake wedding cake, how cool is that, and the sunset pictures by the pond that were absolutely gorgeous, even though we had to trapes through a lot of mud to get there.
