Bonneville Salt Flats Couples Session // Salt Lake City, Utah

I have always been in love with the landscape of Utah and have wanted to visit and shoot at some of the unique locations for so long. So in April my husband and I decided to make a trip. My number one location I wanted to shoot at was the Bonneville Salt Flats. The landscape is so different from the many forests and beaches of the Olympic Peninsula that it was a must to visit.

I reached out to Maura who is local to the area and also a photographer to see if she would be interested in a couples session with her husband. We chatted about the style of the shoot I was going for and the outfits I was interested in. Curating a styled shoot is so much fun and gave me such creative freedom.

Maura and Tyler are seriously pro’s in front of the camera. They are absolutely adorable and I had the best time shooting them. One unique aspect about the salt flats is that you can drive your car onto it, park and shoot anywhere that your heart desires. This was seriously such a dream shoot that I still think about to this day. Utah has my heart and I am so excited to explore other locations in the future.

If you are ever in need of a destination photographer I am your gal!!
